Whether you are a student looking for a part-time job or an adult who wants to pursue a career in Las Vegas, becoming a stripper could be a great choice for you. The work is fast-paced, you get to wear all kinds of crazy outfits and receive crazy customer requests. You will also get to spend time with some of the most exciting and edgy people in the world.
Working at a stripper’s club
Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned veteran, working at a stripper’s club in Las Vegas can be a great way to make a little extra money. However, if you’re unfamiliar with the etiquette of strip clubs, you may find yourself kicked out or not being treated properly.
The first thing you’ll want to do is check the rules for the club. Most have their own dress code, and you’ll need to comply with the rules. Generally, you’ll be expected to wear a two-piece outfit and change clothes frequently. You also have to complete a tour and spin.
A good tip is $1 per song. You should also tip extra if the dance is good, but not over the standard cost. It’s only necessary to do this if you really liked the dance.
Most striptease dancers earn their income by tips. Some of the clubs charge a fee to the girl, and most dancers get paid after the dance is over. In addition to tips, most striptease dancers receive payment for lap dances.
Depending on the club, you’ll be required to undergo a background check. You’ll also need a sheriff’s card, which you can renew every five years. The card shows your arrest record for Clark County. You’ll need to go through ID checks and fingerprinting.
Some clubs hire only on weekends or during certain business hours. You can expect to perform every two hours. You should be well groomed and presentable.
You should also bring all of your belongings. If you’re going to be in the area for a few days, you should bring a pillow, a laptop, and books. You might even want to stay at a hotel close by.
It’s important to remember that most strippers are independent contractors, and their livelihood is based on tips. Therefore, it’s important to be honest with yourself about how you feel about your appearance. If you have doubts, ask your friend for advice.
While working at a stripper’s club, you’ll have to be flexible with your schedule. Some clubs only hire on weekends or weekdays. Others require that you work a minimum number of hours.
Dressing like a droid
During the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, a pair of robots in black suits are performing the aforementioned cyborg acrobatics at the Sapphire Gentleman’s Club. Not all attendees were turned off by the new fad. In fact, there were several enlightened souls that actually swooped in to see what the booze was all about. A few were also impressed that they weren’t the only ones in the club. A multiplication table and a local pioneer school charter were also on display. As for the club itself, it was a hit. If you were looking to make a splash at the event, this may be the place to be. The venue is also a short hop from the airport. Those who took the time to get here likely had the chance of a lifetime. The one drawback is that the throngs of tech-suiters will probably be on the lookout for the best drinks and food in town. Fortunately, the venue isn’t exactly a walking distance from the convention center, or the adjacent strip clubs on the Las Vegas strip. The following day, I’m sure many of the execs will be on their way home. Hopefully the novelty will still be in tack. Considering the fact that the venue will be in operation for more than a week, this should be a pleasant experience. Moreover, the venue isn’t a hotbed of graft.
